The Provincial Administrator’s Office-Davao del Norte Investment and Promotion Center (PADO-DNIPC) marks another milestone of astounding achievement as it receives the two (2) Gantimpala Agad Awards from the Provincial Government of Davao del Norte during the brief awarding ceremony held at the Provincial Information, Communication and Knowledge Management Office (PICKMO) today, March 8, 2021.
The citation recognizes in particular the achievement of the Province of Davao del Norte for being awarded as the Top 10 Finalist for the Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit in the entire Philippines for the year 2020. No less than the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry bestowed the award, which is based on specific criteria.
Another equally-significant achievement of the province is the award conferred by the Department of Trade and Industry XI, citing Davao del Norte as the Overall Most Competitive Province in Davao Region during the 4th Davao Region Competitiveness Awarding last February 24, 2021. This particular award is based on the result of the Cities and Municipalities Competitive Index (CMCI) survey conducted by the DTI.
Receiving the Gantimpala Agad Awards are Ms. Joevynar M. Miedes, DMO III, DNIPC Head, and Ms. Gemma O. Caasi, DMO II, also of PADO-DNIPC. They are joined by no less than Ms. Maria Hazel C. Zafra, CE, EnP., Assistant Provincial Administrator for Operations.
The Gantimpala Agad Award is a rewards and recognition initiative of the Civil Service Commission, replicated by National and Local Government Agencies, which gives immediate recognition to government officials and employees for their prompt, courteous, efficient, and honest delivery of public service.
The short but joyous awarding ceremony was spearheaded by the Provincial Human Resource and Management Office led by its Department Head, Mr. Edwin Palero, MPA, MHRM.
